Streets of Blackridge

This project took me quite a while to complete, as it started as a mere modular architecture exercise and grew into a full portfolio scene.
In this artwork I challenged myself with the creation of an urban environment, largely inspired at the start by the Dishonored game series.

The original goal shifted during production. I started this scene to practice modular architecture and texturing, and for some practice with Unreal Engine materials setup. However, when I began thinking about how to properly showcase these several buildings I created, I decided to present them in a more creative way and turn the project into a full environment with props and storytelling.

As a result, this project became an opportunity to enhance my skills in modular modeling, trim sheets, tiling textures, I worked on several ways of breaking up texture repetition (decals, masks and vertex painting), working with Blueprints, setting up lighting scenarios, and pushing my rendering and presentation skills a little further.

Not everything turned out exactly as I had envisioned, but I brought the project to the best shape I could achieve at my current skill level. Rather than leaving it unfinished, I wanted to do justice to this work — and here I am, proudly sharing the
